Overview
Skill Track Pro ("the App") is a youth soccer analytics application designed for coaches and parents to track player development. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of the young athletes whose data you track.
Information We Collect
Data You Provide
- Player Names — First names or nicknames only (we do not require or encourage full names)
- Match Data — Opponent names, scores, dates, and match types
- Performance Statistics — Action recordings including passes, shots, saves, and other soccer-related metrics
- Playing Time — Minutes played during matches
Data We Do Not Collect
- Full names or surnames
- Photos or videos
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Contact information (email, phone, address)
- Date of birth or age
- School or team affiliations beyond what you voluntarily enter
- Analytics, usage tracking, or advertising data
How Your Data Is Stored
All data is stored locally on your device only. Skill Track Pro does not transmit, upload, or sync your data to any external server, cloud service, or third-party platform. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
This means:
- Your data is as secure as your device itself
- No internet connection is required to use the App
- No account or login is needed
- We have no access to your data at any time
Data Sharing
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Since all data remains on your device, we never have access to it.
Your data may only leave your device when:
- You explicitly choose to export a backup file
- You explicitly choose to share a match summary
- You explicitly choose to export player reports (CSV/Excel)
In all cases, sharing is initiated entirely by you through your device's built-in sharing features (email, messaging, etc.).
Data Backup and Export
The App provides features to:
- Export your data as a JSON backup file via email
- Import previously exported backup data
- Export player reports as CSV/Excel files
- Share match summary cards via your device's sharing capabilities
You maintain full control over your data at all times. We recommend regularly backing up your data, as it exists only on your device.
Children's Privacy
Skill Track Pro is designed for use by coaches and parents to track youth soccer players. The App:
- Does not collect personal information directly from children
- Is operated by adults (coaches/parents) who input player information
- Minimizes data collection by design (first names only)
- Does not include advertising or in-app purchases targeted at children
- Does not transmit any data to external servers
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations. Because no data is transmitted from the device, there is no risk of children's information being collected or shared externally.
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You may delete your data at any time by:
- Removing individual players or matches within the App
- Using the "Clear All Data" option in the App's Profile screen
- Uninstalling the App (all data will be permanently removed)
Since we do not store any data on external servers, there is no server-side data to delete.
Security
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:
- Device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID protection
- On-device encryption provided by iOS and Android
- App sandboxing that prevents other apps from accessing your data
Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of interception during transmission.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data directly within the App
- Export your data at any time using the backup feature
- Correct any inaccurate information directly in the App
- Delete your data at any time, either selectively or completely
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via other appropriate means.
